Happy Birthday Uncle Braden!

We want cake. Especially Costco Chocolate cake.
I think I personally ate 1/3 of this cake.

we finally made it!

After a very long drive we made it to Carlsbad. We left early and made the drive down in two days. We spent the night at Buffalo Bill's in Primm. The boys did really well.

Beckam was asleep when we got to the park.

So he took a nap in the stroller during the first part of the party.


There was a scavenger hunt for rubber ducks.

We even played some baseball and hung out at the park.

the other Poppy

My cousin Anna was due with her little girl the same day that I was with Truman. She had her little Poppy just a few days after Truman was born. It was fun to be able to see them while we were in Utah.

Nana's back!!

Nana went to NY and she brought everyone back...yes you guessed it...t-shirts. Isaac and Beckam had to try on everyones, at the same time.

This seems to be one of the crazy birthday times for us. It all starts with Poppy's birthday in May and doesn't slow down much till June. Happy Birthday Poppy!

1st visit to Anzac

We went to Anzac park with Pp, Rhett, and Sara. We played baseball with a stick and nerf ball. Had a picnic lunch. Then played at the park it was lots of fun.

We went over to the old neighborhood to play with some of our friends. My camera died while we were there, but I was able to take a few pictures before it did. Jenn and I have known each other since junior high and her older brother is one of Sam's best friends from high school. We really miss our old house and friends. Carson asked me if we were back, he was pretty excited. I told him we were back for a little while and that we would visit again.

a visit to daybreak

One afternoon Pp took us out to daybreak to see aunt Sara. We picked her up at school so that we could check out her room. Then we went to explore a cool new park in Sara and Rhett's neighborhood, and a little playing in the lake. Followed by a stop at Sara and Rhett's house. We had lots of fun. Thanks Pp and Sara.

Isaac and Beckam went with Nana to visit Mammo one day.

Beckam fell asleep on the way there so he took a nap while Uncle Jeff mowed the lawn.

Isaac, Nana, and Mammo went to the store and bought flower to take and put on her parent's graves as well as Papa's grave. My boys never new my dad's dad. He died while Sam and I lived in Las Vegas, for school. He was one of the sweetest men who ever lived. He would have absolutely loved my boys. He had three of his own, my dad being the youngest.

dana and sara took isaac and beckam for a special big boys day. they went to target, the park, and grammy p's. when sam finally was able to meet us in Utah a few weeks later we were able to all go visit grammy p again but we forgot our camera on that trip.
