easter weekend, brazos bend...

my sister and her boy friend decided to come down and spend easter weekend with us. it was great and the boys just keep asking me when they are coming back. we took them to brazos and we saw a ton of alligators it was the perfect time to go.(christen leave me a comment and remind me just how many we saw.)

we love getting packages. it took a phone call to confirm who this one had come from, but we were pretty sure. thanks pp, they are so dang cute. (don't you love that beck had to wear truman's)

time?...

man sometimes i stop just long enough to realize how much our lives are going to change come this fall. we will start real school for, forever. well not forever but as good as. next year it will be beckam going to pre-school and not isaac. isaac will be gone all day everyday. as the boys get older i get more and more worried that our fun free family time will become a thing of the past. i'm excited too. it will be nice to be able to spend some one on one time with my little true. gee time flies.

new york, new york...

first girls trip ever since i've had kids, and it was so much fun. i just want to know when we are planning the next one. christen and i had never been to new york so there was lots of running around to get in this time. some of the highlights included food, food, and food, plus pink berry's which yes must be mentioned separate from just food. then there was the show to be honest it had been a long day and i was really worried it wasn't going to be worth the money that had been spent on it. but i was totally wrong, the lion king was awesome. i just have one word, costumes. it was also fun to see all the classic sites. my cute aunt nancy and cousin riley were even able to join us for the afternoon one day. but i have to say we did freeze. it was low 40's the whole time we were there. and then there was the whole flying debacle that i honestly don't have the energy to write about now.(*note to self fill in later) but over all it was a wonder trip.
