last saturday...

part one:
isaac had a soccer game yes as i promised no pictures. so we will say he had a great game, and move on.

part two:
trying on halloween costumes, to prep for tonight. this year we went with a theme because i want to be more like nick and nat when it comes to halloween costumes. it is the sword in the stone: dad- "bermuda" merlin you can catch a glimpse below, i'll get a better picture on halloween, mom- the stone complete with sword most of the time, isaac- knight kay, beckam- "wart", king arthur, truman- archimedes.

part three:

pumpkin patch at seven lakes

our local high school's orchestra puts on a pumpkin patch with carnival every year. so we went to check it out. the boys had fun playing on inflatable items, having a treat, and picking out pumpkins.

part four:

donuts in the park. again no pictures were taken. just thought i'd document it. truman likes swings.

part five:

trunk or treat! we've never done one of these things before. so in true hudson style at least us hudson we made it there missing parts of costumes, so truman never put his one because it was a little cool that evening and beckam was wearing his pants, yes his pants. beckam was also missing one shirt, his belt, and his shoes. i tell you. but that didn't stop us. we had chili, cornbread, and snow cones, and after that we couldn't hear for a minute because we sat right next to the speakers that were playing the halloween music. but we regained our hearing just in time for mom to pass out candy that is after she let our pet spider attack you and dad took the big boy to trunk-or-treat. we had lots of fun. truman's best friend asher was parked next to us and so truman had a great time too. even though there was no treating for him.

over easy eggs and our favorite halloween decoration

isaac loves over easy eggs just like his dad. this one turned out pretty dang good. cooked just right and prefectly shaped to maximize the toast. okay i'm weird i know, but he's picky about them so i though i'd get a shot of my handy work.

this is the all time best halloween decoration to have with a little one. this has been a favorite for their 1st halloweens. it's how i get truman to sit in his chair after he eats his breakfast, so i can get his brothers their's.

isaac's school had wanna be day last thursday so the kids dressed up as community workers.

this was our target specially. isaac quite liked it because they had a fire engine visit school the week before. isaac came home and informed us that if we were ever on fire we were to

stop-drop-and roll.

soccer 10/17

yes, more soccer pictures. but they are two weeks old, and i didn't make it to last weeks game.

i stayed home to let true get in his morning nap.

is getting so old.

he gets around everywhere all the time so quickly, he still just drags himself though.

he loves to stick his tongue out(as you can see) sometimes he spits too he thinks he's really funny.

he loves to play at the bottom of the stairs and what i mean by play is he tries to climb up them. our bottom step is wood and not always too forgiving but that hasn't slowed him down yet.

he sings with me when i put him to bed, he just lays his head on my shoulder and sings, being a mom just couldn't get much better.

he love to "crawl" around saying dadadadadadadada. sam loves it too.

he does say mom sometimes and much more deliberately.

he still is loving his jumper he just laughs and jumps; that is as long as he has an audience to entertain.

he loves his big brothers and is already trying to keep up with them. he thinks everything they do is funny. yes, i too just got a little worried about what my future holds.

he hates church. really hates it, it starts at the exact time his morning nap usually does and so he is exhausted the whole time we are there, and 3 hours gets to feel like a really really really long time some weeks. we're hoping he gets out of this hating church thing sooner than later for more than one reason.

he loved baby food, and then he hated baby food, and then decided he liked it again, but is picky about what he will eat. now were getting to the normal food stage we'll see how this goes.

as soon as i think i've got sleep schedules figured out with him he starts getting teeth or something to throw a little wrench into it. although i have to say that is not really unique to him per say.

he loves to be outside. which is a good thing. our family kinda loves to be outside too.

he is a really good baby and i can't imagine life without time.

pre-haircut, just ignore the dirty face he had just finished lunch.

truman got his first tooth while we were camping, he now has 2.

he also got his first haircut.

now he looks like a little boy and not a baby anymore.

oh and by the way i forgot to mention he's 8 yes eight months old now.

dad got out his fishing pole for a minute. they saw a few fish but didn't get any to bite.

ryan got us our third boy by asking if he was a girl because he wasn't in the boy pictures.

isaac quickly got him back by asking ryan if he was a girl because he wasn't in the boy pictures either.

the boys took the kayak out and they all jumped in except for the designated paddler, beck.

i had to get a shot of ryan's sweet sweet outfit for carrying the kayak back to camp.

we went camping with our good friends the reed's last weekend. we went up to inks lake just northwest of austin. we underpacked, over froze, and had tons of fun.
