i went to my dr appointment today heard the baby's heartbeat, and scheduled my next appointment which will also include an ultrasound to find out what we are having. honestly i'm not sure how i feel about this. a little apprehensive is my best description for now. i'm just not sure if i'm ready to know. but i do have until september 25.

If you are apprehensive then I say - DON'T DO IT! I loved it when I had my babies and didn't know what they were. I would say that if you absolutely don't care if you have a boy or a girl, then just wait. It's just so fun in the delivery room to find out.
However if you DO prefer one gender over the other (even secretly) then you might want to find out early just in case it's NOT what you were hoping for, then you have some time to get used to the idea. That may sound a bit lame but with Adam I wanted a boy SO BAD that I had to find out early just in case he was a girl then I had a few months to be okay with it before the baby arrived! Luckily he was a boy ;)
If it's a girl, you have my permission to name her Lily! I'm marking my calendar and you better let us know as soon as you do what it is!
Ooh, that's my birthday! You should have the baby then. It's a great day to have a birthday.
Find out or we will start letting Addie name it. You don't want that.
Addie already did name it Sophie. It guess I could say her. Addie is pretty sure you are having a girl baby and I have to say I agree:>
Paul and I are supposed to find out on the 19th what we're having, and I wish it could be sooner. I really don't know how people wait until the delivery room to find out, but maybe one day I'll want to do that after I've already had a few. But I still think you should find out!
I think you should just choose two names and than not find out. Just name it your chosen name in the hospital.Ryan ..... It will make it hard to make your quilt if I don't know what your having, mom.....Mostly we're trying to see if the account Ryan set up will let us make comments, Love you all
I can't wait to hear what your having. If it's a girl Kai can have a future wife and if it's a boy they can be friends. Either way it will be so cute.
