confessions...
we have been horrible at birthdays this year!!
(well mine was awesome but in general we've sucked)
our latest blunders.
my sister was visiting during the end of september, over my mom's birthday.
which just happened to be her 50th. neither of us remembered to call her on her birthday. (although i have to say i did call her early the next morning upon which i though was her actual birthday.) oops!
then there was lizzy's birthday we called but no present what a cool aunt and uncle we are.
we did make lizzy and nana birthday cards which were never sent. big surprise.
then last monday it was nat's birthday. the big 29, the last year of true youngness. and we didn't remember to call her. i was busy taking my mom and sister to the airport that day. and during the days following, everything bad that might have happened lately has seemed to.
broken washing machine.
left the stove on gas company had to come for a visit.
burned my fingers really bad went to sleep that night with my hand in a cup of water.
had to have someone come install the fireplace log because it just wasn't happening for us.
minor fender bender (sam) just a little paint swapping.
my whole ipod erased.
you get the picture. so to my horror i remembered to call natalie on i think it was friday and left her a message. i still haven't talked to her. but we did make birthday cards for her. and although they probably won't get sent. we did take some pictures just to prove that at least the cards are actually being made.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. It was a crazy week for us too although not quite as painful as yours. I was gone watching my sister's kids and it seemed like every day was busy. Sorry I never returned your call. Hopefully the next time I call I will have something exciting to report.
life if busy! I think you have an excuse for "sucking" You have three little boys that are taking up all your time. Don't worry. I know your mom gets it :)
