{isaac, grandpa, and beckam:beckam's first halloween 2007}
my grandpa passed away on the 15th of december. he had been battling cancer for the last several months but it was still hard to see him go. i'm so glad that we were able to spend a little time with him and say good bye when we were home for braden's wedding.
ever since my mom called to tell me i've been reflecting on the person he was and the kind of life he lead. he was an amazing man. he could fix or build just about anything. he had the most awesome handwriting ever. he could answer any gospel question you ever might have. and that's just the beginning. putting all these thing into one idea i realized how much he gave in everything he did. he was the best architect, husband, father, grandfather, disciple of christ, etc. he could be. i want to be more like my wonderful grandfather. i want to put the effort he did into the things that matter most the way he did. giving my full effort into perfecting the habits i want to have. being the best mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend i can be. i want be as committed to following my savoir and his teaching as he was. for these are the things that really matter in life.
thank you for being such a wonderful example to us we love you grandpa.
