*tips for myself next time.
1. read throught the entire recipe several times throughly...
2. don't add ingredient to the dough that are suppose to go into the boiling water
3. now that i understand the boiling timing. schedule more appropriately so my neighbor doesn't have to pick isaac up from school.
i must say not withstanding my minor blunders with round one. they turned out pretty dang good. slightly salty{for some more than others}, but still really good. i will definantly be trying this recipe again.

What a blast! I think your bagels look delicious. Those are one of the foods that I would never to think of making they just come from a store!
