We are all great. We had an exciting night trying to decide how to get the boys to sleep and when things were going to really hit. I got to hear lots of it because I was trying to sleep on a twin mattress in the laundry room with both boys. It was loud, you could tell there were some strong winds and lots of rain. We had a few windows that let a little water in, but no big deal at all. And since we still have power the most major thing that happened was part of our side fence fell down in the backyard. So we have a nice walk way to the neighbors now. All in all we are in a lot better condition than many in the Houston area, and are very thankful for that. It is still a little rainy and windy and our biggest problem now it that we are getting kind of bored. We took some pictures last night and will take some more today and will get those up soon.

Glad to hear you made it through the night.
What a relief! I was hoping you still had power but thought you were probably one of the ones who had lost it. What a blessing everything is okay.
And....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,
YOU SURVIVED HURRICANE IKE (WITH ONLY SOME LEAKY WINDOWS AND A BROKEN FENCE),
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO TARYN!!!
Happy Birthday Taryn!!! You're getting so old. I'm so happy you guys are okay and you didn't even lose power.
Glad to hear you didn't have to evacuate & weren't too close to the flooding & damage. We were wondering if it would affect you guys; good thing you ended up choosing the neighborhood you did & weren't any closer to the commotion!
Hey, good to hear you are okay. I thought about you guys all weekend and hoped for good news. Thanks for letting us know.
