Truman's Blessing

We blessed our sweet little Truman on the 31st of May 2009

This was the invitation I sent out to our friends for Truman's Blessing.

Boy blessing outfits are hard to find. My mom and I went into four and twenty sailor in Salt Lake and found this outfit though. I just loved the little shorts and how simple it was.

When we showed up at Hudson's Truman was so tired but I couldn't get him to go to sleep. Thank goodness uncle Jeff was there, he's magic.

The Slaugh's were at the blessing but had another blessing to attend so ducked out early.

The Hansen's were there as well but Will had to get back to church and Heidi went home with the kids because Rex had a stomach ache.

The day after we got home from California Sam was able to give Truman a blessing in my parents ward. He did a really nice job. It was so fun to be able to have lots of friends and family around for the occasion. After Sacrament meeting we headed over to Hudson's for some breakfast. The weather was wonderful and we had a great time in their beautiful backyard. Since we had been in California till the night before Hudson's took care of everything which was so nice for me, thank you!!

We are so blessed to have these boys. We love Truman just as much as the rest and are so lucky to have him in our family. He brings such a wonderful spirit to our home. We are very greatful for the knowledge and blessing that we have of eternal families.
