lake blanch...

i was so excited to be invited on the "no kids allowed" hike this year. {i wasn't pregnant and i didn't have a little baby to feed.} and i must say i now have a new appreciation for being "freezing cold". talk about shock to the system. i was suppose to get some money from this but i haven't seen any of it yet. {hint hint sam and nick} nick was nice enough to lend me his jacket on the way down seeing as how i couldn't shed as many clothes as others could before taking the plunge and so was considerable more wet. so i didn't freeze but i was the only one still wet at lunch with mark and dana that afternoon. {stunning is how i looked at lunch i'm sure. wet and dirty usually = stunning, right?} thank you nick, sara, and sam for letting me come on the hike this year, even though i am in much worse shape than the rest of you. i'll try to work on that for if i get invited back next time.
