easter eggs

For family night last week we dyed our Easter eggs. We were trying a marbling method from Martha Stewart. Mom learned her lesson maybe you should try things out before you have your family do them. The only one that worked out pretty good was one that Sam finally did after we added more dye, more oil, and some new found technique. I made 4 bowls of dye: blue, green, brown, and orange so of course most of our eggs ended up pink. I should have know we were headed for some bumps in the road when I started out by cracking 4 of our eggs before we even started. I don't make boiled eggs often, make that ever, so I didn't know you were suppose to put them in the water before it started to boil, lesson learned.
