aka. the rude awakening at lunch. drop off was much better wednesday we left with plenty of time. dad even road over with us but didn't have time to walk inside, he had a meeting he needed to be on time for. the rest of us walked isaac in because it was our last chance to do so{only three days}. the boys gave his hugs and we were off.
i must say the house is seeming quite quiet these days, just saying. we do miss isaac a whole lot though, especially those moment where it hits you, someones missing. i think about what he might be doing several times a day. i miss his smile, and his help, his entertaining beckam, and his keeping truman out of mischief.
when we picked him up at the cross walk i asked him how his day was, good. how was your lunch, bad. i didn't really get a chance to ask him why at that point. and on the way home we stopped at the other isaac's for an after school snack and to play for a little bit. so when we sat down for dinner i asked him why he didn't like his lunch. to which he replied," i was going through the line and it looked really good just cheese. then i sat down took a bite and yuck! i opened it up and there it was MUSTARD!" he was thoroughly appalled that anyone could put something like this on his cheeseburger. he even had to go find the culprit in our fridge just to make sure we understood the gravity of the offence. mental note call the lunch lady and see if we can rectify the condiment situation. oh and other note worthy event from day three. PE did not include dancing just a fire drill, not a really fire just a practice.
