this was the last weekday of summer and i was determined to do something fun. thank goodness i have some good friends who were willing to do it with me. we took the kids down to the beach and they loved it. we spent several hour playing in the ocean, digging in the sand, and having some yummy lunch. mary was nice enough to lend us her boogie board and the boys had tons of fun with those. it was a great day. all the boys slept on the way home. nothing can wear out a kid quite like the beach{or a parent for that matter.} thanks everyone for coming with us and making our last day so much fun.
