back to school- "the shoot"...

i pulled isaac out into the backyard one moring last week so i could get a few pictures of him before he started school.

but while we are on the topic. school, really? real school, five days a week, nine months a year, all day long{well 8:20-3:40}. life as we know it altered forever. last year was a big year for us it was the beginning of the only school we had ever done. but this, this is a whole new ballgame. we are turning the control of our families life over to the katy independant school distric. they now control not only my child for more of the day than i do but also our whole schedule. wether on a daily basis or on broader scale, say vacations. i'm not so sure i'm ready for this. we love to pick up and leave{and throw an extra day on the end here or there}, or extend the majority of the families trip for a few days more when we visit home. sam said the other day to me it's like he'll kinda be gone in part now. really i mean he's only FIVE! and he's gotten there soooooo fast, my head is spinning.

okay i am really excited for him. he is ready. and i'm interested to see what this new year will bring to our family.
